About Collins & Hall

Established 2015 by Tom Collins and Robert Hall to meet the growing demand for quality timber windows and doors from our customer base across Yorkshire and beyond.

Having collaborated on many projects of all sizes and with almost 40 years combined experience as a master joiner and glazier, we decided to form Collins & Hall to fill the gap in the local market.

Our small installations team are highly experienced including skilled joiners and we also have a network of trusted contractors we collaborate with on various projects – from plasterers and painters, interior designers and architects to compliment your new wood windows and doors and help you finish your refurbishment to the very highest standard.

With bespoke wood windows and doors being our passion much of our work is the very bespoke, often making windows or doors to match existing windows and doors on period properties, this kind of attention to detail and craftsmanship can be manufactured in our workshop by our highly trained cabinet maker who loves to be challenged by any intricate design features that really make a period property look at its very best.

As an alternative we also fit products supplied to us by the UK’s leading manufacturers of high performance timber windows and doors. They have an enviable reputation for quality, craftsmanship and service that mirrors the Collins and Hall ethos.

Uncompromised quality

Our windows and doors are independently certified to meet and often exceed the latest British and European safety and performance standards – including water tightness, U-value, load bearing capacity, security, acoustic, wind resistance, air permeability and operating forces. This ensures that the manufacturing quality, security and weather performance of your new windows and doors are the best available.

Excellent customer care

Excellent customer care is at the core of everything we do. We understand that our continued success depends on your happiness. Here at Collins & Hall, we strive to match the quality of our products with excellent service from initial enquiry to completion – not only for the duration of the job, but in our aftercare service too.

Peace of mind

All our timber products are designed to not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also save you money over a lifetime. Our windows are rigorously tested and achieve UK and European safety and performance standards, backed by a comprehensive range of quality and performance warranties. All our timber windows and doors come with a manufacturer’s guarantee of 30 years against rot and fungal infection. 10 year guarantees are offered on all hardware, glazing and finishes in either a paint or stain system.

We are so confident in our highly skilled installation team that we offer an unheard of guarantee of 10 years on fitting to all our windows and doors. All our work is insurance backed as standard.

Full details of all our guarantees and warranties can be found here.

Environmentally Responsible

All of the engineered wood we use comes from certified Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sources, ensuring the timber used to make your windows and doors come from a sustainable and responsibly managed source. All products come fully factory finished and are treated with an organic preservative to ensure complete protection across all faces. All our coatings are water based and therefore environmentally friendly. We fit energy efficient ‘Low-E’ glazing to all our windows as standard, but can provide triple glazed units to meet more demanding landscapes.
