Timber windows and doors have a higher initial cost but the whole life cost of our timber windows is significantly less than upvc. Not only that but a timber window can easily be repaired and in years to come re painted to look as good as new. Taking all this into account our timber windows are a very good and cost affective investment.

Taking all this into account we would expect all paint finishes to last 5 – 10 years before repainting and all stains to go 3 – 5 years.

Once we approach the design and planning phase of your project, typically 6 to 8 weeks prior to manufacture, we conduct a site visit to take manufacturing dimensions and discuss the details, hardware options etc. We then ask for 50% of the manufacturing estimate minus the initial deposit. Once we have completed manufacture and are applying the finish while waiting for any glazing units to be manufactured we ask for the remainder if the manufacturing element.
